NHS Friends and Family Test

The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) is an important opportunity for our patients to give us feedback on the care and treatment received so that we can further improve our services.

The FFT enables the Trust to ask patients using the non-emergency patient transport service to attend hospital appoints to think about the service they received from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
These patients are able to give quick feedback on the quality of the care they receive, giving West Midlands Ambulance Service a better understanding of the needs of their patients and enabling improvements.

How does it work?

You will be asked to answer the following question: “Thinking about the service provide for the Patient Transport Service, overall how was your experience of the service?”

You will be invited to respond to the question by choosing one of six options, ranging from “very good” to “very poor”.

or email pals@wmas.nhs.uk

Please complete the Friends and Family Test (FFT) Survey by answering the questions below and then clicking ‘submit’. Thank you.

How will the results be used?

The Patient Experience Team will gather the results and analyse them rapidly to see if any action is required. They will be reviewed at the Trusts Learning Review Meeting.
