The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) is an important opportunity for our patients to give us feedback on the care and treatment received so that we can further improve our services.
The FFT enables the Trust to ask patients using the non-emergency patient transport service to attend hospital appoints to think about the service they received from West Midlands Ambulance Service.
These patients are able to give quick feedback on the quality of the care they receive, giving West Midlands Ambulance Service a better understanding of the needs of their patients and enabling improvements.
How does it work?
You will be asked to answer the following question: “Thinking about the service provide for the Patient Transport Service, overall how was your experience of the service?”
You will be invited to respond to the question by choosing one of six options, ranging from “very good” to “very poor”.
or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Please complete the Friends and Family Test (FFT) Survey by answering the questions below and then clicking ‘submit’. Thank you.
Do you have to respond to the questions?

But if you do answer, your feedback will provide valuable information for the Ambulance Service to celebrate good practice, and identify opportunities to make improvements. If you feel that you should have been given the opportunity to respond but did not receive the question, please contact the Patient Experience Team on 0300 303 0996. or email the Patient Experience Team.
